Hotel Buda Mar - Mazunte

Buda Mar impressed me with its lovely beachfront location. The room had two king beds and was cozy, although it got quite warm at night since there's no AC. Fans helped, but if you're sensitive to heat, perhaps check for rooms with better ventilation. I loved the small pool area. It offered a nice alternative to the ocean, which can be pretty rough. Breakfast on the beach was a highlight, especially the molletas and fresh fruit salad. Diego, our server, made mornings even more pleasant with his cheerful service. The hotel also arranged airport transport, super convenient and saved us from stress upon arrival. The restaurant prices felt a bit high compared to other spots nearby, and we found better food options outside. Not all have ensuite bathrooms, which can be a drawback. Despite some minor inconveniences, Buda Mar offered a solid experience with a beautiful atmosphere. I'd certainly consider returning.

The venue was quiet and quiet little, I really enjoyed the location next to many restaurants around and the centre of Zipolite-, and sea views. The staff was really helpful at all levels. The setting of hotel was absolutely perfect, to the beachfront.

Big hype, little substance

Expectations were high, yet the reality was a mixed bag. While the beachfront access is fine and staff are warm and helpful, some quirks came forth, minimal activities for children and a slightly unkempt pool area. The potential for a more vibrant atmosphere remained just out of reach .

Very tastefully furnished. Located directly on the beach, the staff is always helpful and courteous. We'll be happy to come back.

The hotel is stunningly beautiful with amazingly friendly staff and views of swimming pool.

Request a room with good ventilation to improve comfort during warmer nights.

Clean venue with marvellous and beautiful location on the beach at Posada Buena Vida. Cool and fantastic room with a very comfy bed. A great selection of excellant food for meals. What a great stay, no complains at all...

It's not all bad, but it's not all good

The boutique-style hotel boasts an excellent location just 200 meters from the main street. The staff is super pleasant.

While service was brisk, some menu items were misleading, and the massage experience was awkward due to background noise and lack of privacy.

The beach area was a highlight for our family, and we loved relaxing in the cozy shaded beach beds. Our kid had a blast playing in the sand, and the service offered by Diego during breakfast was excellent, especially with the fresh fruit and local dishes.

My kids wished there were more activities available for younger guests.

Cozy Retreat with a Beautiful Beachside Experience

The beachside setting provided very nice views, and we enjoyed relaxing on the shaded beach beds. Although the breakfast had a sweet focus, the fresh fruit and molletas were a good start to the day.

The staff here were incredibly friendly and really attentive, making our stay truly memorable. Our unit was spacious and cozy, complete with a high chair and a nice balcony. 😊.
